Homework

Homework is generally given weekly to our Year 6 students here at All Saints CE Primary School. It is always carefully considered, so that it supports learning gaps or needs that have been identified in class. We are very grateful for the support of our parents with this.

Homework expectations:

• Read at least three times weekly at home, sometimes to or with an adult
• Practise Times Tables, or their associated division facts
• Practise weekly spellings (using either the Read, Sound, Write Check grids, or the handwriting for spelling sheets) before the usual Tuesday quick test
• Complete the given tasks, glue into your homework book, and return to your teacher by the following Thursday
